In the words of Vic Johnson- --Deb “Honey” Howsare doesn’t just leave a footprint, she leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all who come in any kind of contact with her. You know almost instantly that here is a person that really cares about YOU!

Honey has a passion for life that is catching to all. The positive aura that surrounds her radiates joy and makes people feel ALIVE. Internationally known, she has received her PHD (Positive Human Development) from life. This allows her presentations to impact the lives of her audiences, from the diligent worker, management, to corporate levels. She will teach from the heart, the art of persistence in this ever changing world. Learn how to embrace your own detours and re-charge your tank with a smile for every mile.

She lives with her husband, Kirk Howsare, in the Des Moines, Iowa area, where she helps Kirk with a Real Estate business. She was blessed to be a stay at home mommy for 17 years, and a school bus driver for 8 & ½ years before going into Real Estate. Honey is the mother of five sons, a stepson, a stepdaughter, and the grandmother of five active grandchildren.

About Matt:

It's true what people say about passion being a key ingredient for a successful life and Matt Wosmansky won't attempt to disagree!

After 18 years in a rewarding career as a Senior Mortgage Banker, Matt found himself lacking the passion for lending which he once had. Feeling it was time to set his sights on new frontiers, Matt now serves as the Director of Marketing/PR for Heartland Mortgage Group, located in Clive, Iowa, where he has worked with homebuyers and homeowners for the past 10 years. The opportunity to mix things up and work directly with the community on a whole new level is a real gift.

But his passions don't stop there. Matt has been involved in the visual performing arts for nearly 20 years as a performer, choreographer, clinician, and designer and he continues to educate high school students today.

When he's not marketing or teaching, Matt and his partner, Greg, enjoy spending time on their farm with their menagerie of horses, dogs, and cats. Never leaving time for boredom, Matt stays active by camping, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, exercising, and cherishes spending time with his family and friends.

Matt loves the cultural diversity Des Moines has to offer and believes that its Civic Center Productions, great music & entertainment scene, amazing art, and keen eye for progress all make Des Moines an amazing place to live and grow. Matt is very excited to be a part of the Des Moines Local Live family and is looking forward to waking up with you each weekday morning!
