About Larry

Born an Army brat.  After my parents divorced when I was 10 I grew up in Iowa.  1972 grad of SE Polk, 1976 Iowa State.  Joined the Navy after college as a Naval Flight Officer in the S-3 Viking and the P-3 Orion.  Retired from the Naval Reserve in 1999 as a commander.

State Legislator for one term from 1994 to 1996, Polk County Republican Chairman in 97 and 98.

Former Democrat, Jimmy Carter cured me of that.
